The Bureau will be setting the tone for an extraordinary destination through new campaigns and initiatives. “In 2017 we launched the idea that St. Charles is the place where you “Sight-Do,” which is defined as ‘/s?t-doo/: To engage in adventure through biking, cruising, globe-trotting or vagabonding. Flying, training or driving to a destination for stimulation of the mind, body and soul.’ In 2018, through our work at the GSCCVB, St. Charles - with its ecological beauty, eye on agritourism, pulse on health and wellness and emphasis on family activity – will be known as an engaging and captivating place of action and great memories,” said Lula S. Cassidy, Executive Director.

The GSCCVB is funded by the Illinois Office of Tourism and a portion of the hotel/motel tax collected by St. Charles hotels to promote the Greater St. Charles area as a destination for leisure tourists, conventions, sports events, and meetings.
